Message Hold boost well (that's what counts), and I was surprised at their good construction (for ~$179 each I was expecting them to be cheaply made, but they seem very sturdy). I've had them for about 10 months now, and they've never given me a problem. And I know why you're looking at them and the answer you want to hear. Yes, they're loud. One of my friends was talking to this ricer kid as I was driving by and he asked about my car, my friend told him that my blow off valves could knock his car over. I felt that was a pretty amusing description of them. For the price, they can't be beat IMO
